The purpose of this document is to define the terms of use of the www.familywebcare.com Website, access to the website and its parts


2- Definitions

“Family WebCare”: hereinafter referred to as IPROTEGO SAS with a capital of 40,000 euros, whose registered office is located at 13, rue Trigance, 13002 MARSEILLE, registered with the RCS of Marseille under number 518 552 088 and owner of the brand, site and technology used.

“Users”: refers to the people using the service.

“Digital identity” is the digital counterpart of sovereign identity. Digital identity consists of all the digital information corresponding to an Internet user, given voluntarily or not by him. “Cyber harassment”: is a type of harassment via the Internet (e-mails, social networks…) and/or mobile phones. It can take different forms, such as the creation of false profiles, the dissemination of unfounded rumours or the sending of insult messages.

“Social Networks”: A website that allows Internet users to create a personal page to share and exchange information, photos or videos with their community of friends and network of acquaintances

“Personal data”: Any information directly or indirectly identifying a natural person (e.g. name, registration number, telephone number, photograph, date of birth, municipality of residence, fingerprint…).


3- Website Description

Family Webcare is a site that provides a set of tools and tips to help families and children protect themselves and anticipate the risks associated with the use of the Internet and social networks: e-reputation problem, help in case of cyber-harassment, analysis of activity on social networks.

4- Modification of the T&Cs

The use of the Website implies the recognition and acceptance of the terms of this Agreement. If you refuse to accept this Agreement, it is your responsibility not to use or access the Website and its associated services. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are applicable in their terms on the day of subscription as drafted on the Site. However, they may be subject to change. Any update is enforceable as soon as it has been put online. However, if we make a material change to the Terms of Use, we will give you reasonable notice before the change takes effect by sending you an email to the address associated with your account.

The Family WebCare website team is particularly attentive to the respect of the legal obligations of any website publisher and follows the recommendations of the National Commission for Information Technology and Liberties (CNIL).

While Family WebCare and our partners make every effort to ensure that the features and content of Family WebCare are well formulated and address the issue of cyberbullying in a professional manner, no single site or program can guarantee the prevention of cyberbullying among youth. The purpose of our site is to provide you with educational content that will help you better recognize the “signs of concern” that a young cyber-harasser may show. Never try to solve this type of problem without the help of a professional. Professionals should always be sought whenever there is a possibility of cyberbullying.

The content of the Family WebCare site, such as text, graphics, images, information are for information purposes only. The content is not intended to replace the competent authorities in the event of cyberbullying. In addition, in the event of a medical condition or suicidal thoughts, never neglect the advice of a health professional and never delay in obtaining it.

10- Applicable law

The applicable law is French law. Any dispute related to the use of the site falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the city of Marseille. These conditions may be translated. In the event of a dispute, the French version shall prevail.
